How far in advance can I make a rental reservation?
Reservations are made up to 6 months in advance. Priority is given to Town of Garner events.
What are the rates?
Rental rates are based on hourly use and vary depending on each event's needs.
Can I see the rental space before I book it?

What is the maximum number of people your facility can accommodate?
The Garner Performing Arts Center can seat up to 471 audience members.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
Yes. We have an assortment of folding tables and folding chairs that are available for your use at no extra charge. Table clothes are not provided.
Is parking available?
Yes. There is ample free parking. Since the Garner Performing Arts Center is part of a senior apartment community, reserved parking spaces closest to the main entrance are marked "Resident Only" and designated for tenants with permits only. All vehicles without a parking permit are subject to be towed at the owners expense. 2 facility attendants are required to be on duty to assist the general public with finding available parking spots. For expected attendance of 250 or more people, a 3rd attendant is required to be on duty.
Does the GPAC provide staff?
Yes. All events require at least 1 technician and 2 facility attendants. Additional staff may be necessary depending on the event and expected attendance. The GPAC reserves the right to require additional staff when necessary.
How do I reserve the GPAC?
To reserve an available date at the GPAC, a signed rental agreement with a confirmation deposit of one-half of the total rental (based on the number of hours needed) is due. This confirmation deposit is nonrefundable and nontransferable. The remaining rental balance is due two weeks prior to the event date. A $200 refundable damage deposit is included in the final rental amount.
