Now Accepting Online Permit Applications & Inspection Requests

The Town of Garner's Permit and Inspection Portal is now live!  Visit the Town's new portal to submit permit applications, pay development fees, view staff comments on electronic plan review, and request inspections from the Planning, Engineering, and Inspections departments.  Please submit all new permit applications through the portal - we will no longer be accepting paper applications or plan sets.  Submittals and re-submittals are now being accepted on a rolling basis.

Note:

Effective December 1, 2021, Section 10.3.2.A of the Garner Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) is repealed pursuant to Session Law 2021-138.  In addition, the statement “A lapse in coverage shall be punishable as a misdemeanor” in Section 5.4.H.6.c. is also repealed.

iMAPS will allow you to Search by Owner, Address, Account Number, PIN, and Street Intersection within Wake County. You can also view Real Estate Data such as Acreage, Assessed Tax Value, Zoning and Sales Data.

Fair Housing Act-Ordinance for Reasonable Accommodation:

On Dec. 21, 2010, the Town of Garner Town Council adopted procedures regarding requests for reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act within the Town of Garner and its planning jurisdiction.

The text amendment ordinance can be found here. All persons interested in or affected by the above ordinance are invited to inquire with the Town of Garner Planning Department at 919-773-4449 for the application procedures or general information.
