Phase 1 Yeargan Park Graphic

Photo Description: The above image is a graphic rendering of Yeargan Park Phase 1.

Project Scope: Yeargan Park was acquired by the Town in 2019. A master plan was completed in 2021 with the goal of developing the property in phases for active recreation. The site was farmed by the Yeargan family since the 19th century, when the family decided to sell the property to the Town with the hopes of it becoming a future park. This park will be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 site amenities will include four athletic fields, an inclusive playground, a shelter with restrooms and covered seating, Garner Road frontage improvements with a 10-foot multi-use path.
