Project Scope: A rescoped project area was pursued December 2023, road widening on the south bound travel lane/west side will not be completed during this phase.

The rescoped project includes constructing the East Garner Rd and Jones Sausage Rd intersection to it's ultimate section with dedicated turn lanes, pedestrian curb ramps, pedestrian push buttons, and a multi-use path on the north side, along with road widening for the north bound (east side) travel lane from East Garner Rd to the Amazon Distribution drive access. The improvements on the east side will consist of the additional travel lane, curb and gutter and a 5 ft sidewalk. The west side of Jones Sausage Rd will require grading and a new ditch line.

Current Status (updated August 2024): Updated 65% Design, Utility Relocation Plans and NEPA in progress.
