Preliminary Budget Hearing

A public hearing is scheduled on February 2, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. in the Town Council Meeting Room at Garner Town Hall, 900 Seventh Avenue, Building B, to receive input from the public regarding items for the FY 2015-2016 Operating Budget. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and will have an opportunity to present oral or written comments. Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Town of Garner Town Council at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015, in the Town of Garner Council Chambers to consider the following application:

Special Use Permit Site Plan:

SUP SP 14-03, Skyway Towers: Skyway Towers LLC is requesting site plan approval for the construction of a telecommunications tower. The tower will be approximately 199 feet tall. The 5-acre tract is located at 7400 Jordan Road and can be further identified as Wake County PIN 1618379817.

All persons interested in or affected by the above applications are invited to attend the hearing and offer relevant facts in evidence. Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Town of Garner Town Council at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015, in the Town of Garner Council Chambers to consider the following applications:

General Use Rezoning:

Z 14-01, Wilmington Road

A request has been made to the Garner Town Council by Barbara Mitchell and Sondra Hamlin to change the current zoning classification from Heavy Industrial (I-2) to Residential (R-15) general use district. The applicants originally requested Residential R-20 but have now amended their application to request R-15 which is primarily a single-family zoning district. R-15 zoning does not allow agricultural uses or operations. The 4.35-acre site is located on Wilmington Road and can be further identified as Wake County PINS 1721170554 and 1721170382.
