Notice is hereby given of a public hearing meeting of the Garner Town Council on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the Town of Garner Council Meeting Room to consider the following application:

Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendment:

UDO-15-01, “Other Community Service” uses The Town of Garner has received a request from YMCA for an amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The proposed amendment makes the following change:

Amend the UDO to allow “Other Community Service” uses in both multi-family zoning districts, MF-1 and MF-2, subject to a special use permit.

All persons interested in or affected by the above application are invited to attend the hearing and offer relevant facts in evidence. Additional information is available during regular office hours from the Planning Department at Garner Town Hall. VARIANCE – A-15-01, 2633 Benson Road
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC HEARING

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Garner Board of Adjustment at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2015, in the Town of Garner Town Hall Council Meeting Room to consider the following application:

VARIANCE – A-15-01, 2633 Benson Road – Mr. Larry Estes is requesting a variance from Article 7, Section 7.2D.2.a which prohibits development within both the floodplain and Watershed Conservation Buffer Areas. The applicant is specifically requesting permission to allow the encroachment of impervious area into the Watershed Conservation Buffer Area only as depicted on a preliminary plan entitled “Building and Site Expansion for Estes Body Shop”, produced by BRL Engineering and dated 4/30/15 which was submitted with the variance request application and affecting the current Charles Larry Estes property at 2633 Benson Road further identified as Wake County PIN # 1619-44-9094 and the northernmost 80 feet of the Kenneth Earl Holland, Sr. property at 2705 Benson Road further identified as Wake County PIN # 1619-43-8686.
